About the Project
We built the hotel guide we always wanted to use ourselves.
What?
10 Stays is a curated hotel guide. For every destination we cover,
we screen every single property and select exactly 10 that are
worth recommending.
Each hotel is evaluated against a detailed set of objective and
subjective criteria: guest reviews, location, design, service,
atmosphere. The result is a short list you can trust, whether
you're looking for a boutique gem or a landmark property.
Why?
It started with a simple question: what are the truly exceptional
hotels out there, and how do they actually compare? Not by star
rating or price bracket, but by the things that matter when you
arrive. The service, the design, the feeling of a place.
No one was mapping this out systematically, and in that gap we
saw an opportunity. Booking platforms bury the best alongside the
average. Review sites reward volume over quality. Nobody was doing
the careful, opinionated curation we wanted as travelers
ourselves.
So we built it. For the high-end traveler who values precision
over endless choice, for the curious one researching a city
they've never been to, and for the dreamer saving up for that one
trip that has to be perfect.

By who?
10 Stays is bootstrapped and built by a team of five, with backgrounds in product development, design, and data across Czech and international startups.

What's next?
Right now we’re focused on European cities, with a few destinations live and more in the pipeline. Asia and North America are next. Alongside new destinations, we’re looking to grow our journal with original stories, restaurant guides, and cultural recommendations for every city we cover. The goal is straightforward, help you plan a better trip, not just find a better hotel.
